CODE OF CONDUCT:

PARENTS AND PLAYERS, WE ADVISE OUR OFFICIALS TO APPLY THE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR TRASH TALKING, SPECTATORS UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT. PLEASE ADIVSE EVERYONE, THEY WILL NOT GET A WARNING FOR UNCACCEPTABLE CONDUCT. WE ALL HAVE BEEN PARTICIPATING IN AAU EVENTS FOR MANY YEARS, SO WE KNOW WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE CONDUCT ZERO TOLERANCE NOTICE IN EFFECT:

ZERO TOLERANCE MEANS, IF WE HAVE TO CALL A GAME DUE TO NON-PLAYER
INTERFERENCE AND/OR PLAYERS, WE WILL CALL THE GAME. IF AN OFFICIALS
ADVISES US THAT SOMEONE MUST LEAVE, BUT THEY REFUSE TO LEAVE, THE GAME
WILL BE CALLED AT THAT MOMENT, (please pass this to the parents and players ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY IS IN EFFECT)

Ejections: if a player or coach is issued two technical fouls during a game, they will be ejected from the game, he or she will be ejected for that day. The ejection only applies to that team he was ejected from. (If he/she coaches multiple teams you will be allowed to coach the other team(s)

· UNSPORTMANLIKE CONDUCT CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO; berating or making unkind comments to player, referee, spectator or opposing coach, use of Profanity, fighting, and unnecessary behavior that may cause harm to the game. (Imposed at the discretion of the official and the conduct committed)

Any rules not mentioned below will be worked out fairly at the discretion of the Tournament Director

TOURNEY RULES:
SCHEDULE: (Home/Away determined by the schedule, DO NOT FOLLOW SCORESHEET. [The tourney app prints out Home and Away in reverse order. unable to customize the scoresheet]
• The team listed first on the schedule is the home team.
• The team listed second on the schedule is the Away team.
– (if we are more than 30 minutes behind schedule) WE reserve the right to apply the running clock rule to finish use of the facility on time and/or to get back on schedule.


PGTH will provide staff to keep the SCORECLOCK AND/OR BOOK (NEW, No volunteers required ,but we do reserve the right to request if for some unforeseen reason comes up.


– Only TWO COACHES are allowed per team for admission, and they will be required to sign in for their band (you can have more than two coaches, we only allow two free admissions for coaches)

Playing on Different Teams:
NOTE: A player can play with different teams as long as it is not in the SAME grade division. (if this rule is violated, the player will play on the last team he played a game with) A player that plays on two teams within the same organization can only play up in another age division. A player that plays on the two teams for the same organization (within the same age group) CAN ONLY PLAY ON ONE TIME, THE PLAYER IS NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY ON TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS IN THE SAME GRADE/DIVISION. (This will be strictly enforced and if a TEAM PROTEST AND WINS, YOU WILL FORFIET THOSE GAMES)

Playing Times:

2nd-4th
18 minute halves running clock.(CLOCK STOPS THE LAST ONE MINUTE OF EACH HALF)

5th-10th
14 minute halves each half (Clocks will stop ON all whistles, no running clocks (unless up by 20 points)

11th-12th
15 minutes halves each half (Clocks will stop ON all whistles, no running clocks (unless up by 20 points)

Overtime – 2 Minutes
Double Overtime – 1 Minute
Triple Overtime-first team to score
Note: Each team is allowed one additional time for overtime

Fouls:
Player Fouls Out- 5 Fouls
1-1 on 10th foul
Double Bonus- 13th Foul

Technical Fouls & Player Ejections:
Any player  or COACH receiving two technical fouls will be ejected from the game and will be suspended the very next game (NO Exceptions). Any player involved in a fight on the court will be ejected from the remainder of the event (Discretion of the official)
ABSOLUTELY, no player is permitted to leave the bench during an on the court altercation. The result will be an immediate ejection of that player and a technical foul will be assessed to the head coach.

Mercy Rule:
If a team is ahead by 20 points or more the clock will turn into a running clock. If the lead drops
below 20 points normal rules (stopped clock) will resume

Home vs Away
– Team listed first on the schedule is Home/White
– Team listed second on the schedule is Away/Dark

Game Ball:
– 2nd-6th/7th=28.5
– 7th-11th/12th= 29.5.
– If coaches decided to use a bigger size ball, both coaches must agree. Each team is responsible for their warm – up and game balls. Home team is responsible for providing game ball.

Tie-Breaker:
1. Won-Loss Record
2. Head-to-Head Competition
3.Point System (Margin of Victory…plus/minus)- any team winning by more than 15 points will only be rewarded 15 points for the victory. For example, if your team wins by 22 points you still will be rewarded only 15 points.
4. Least Amount of Points allowed in Pool Play
5.Coin Flip

Other Rules:
– 5 minutes to warm up (depending on games running on time)
– 3 minutes for halftime (depending on games running on time)
Each team is responsible for cleaning the bench area leaving it tidy for the next game.

There will be no arguing or debating referee calls His/her call is the final call

PGTH expects all players, coaches, parents, spectators, and staff to act in an appropriate
